Zechariah

A priest as well as a prophet, Zechariah began his ministry in 520 BCE alongside Haggai, among the returned exiles rebuilding Jerusalem. His book opens with eight strange night visions and widens into some of the Hebrew Bible's most vivid messianic prophecy—a king arriving humbly, riding on a donkey.
