Joseph Shulam

Founder

Joseph Shulam is the founder of Netivyah, one of the first official Messianic non-profit organizations in Israel. Born in Bulgaria in 1946, he immigrated with his Sephardic family to Israel just before its establishment, later discovering the New Testament and identifying with Yeshua during high school. In 1981, he officially founded Netivyah alongside his home study group. Passionate about returning to the Jewish roots of the Bible, Joseph is the author of numerous books and lectures around the world for over 50 years.

Yehuda Bachana

Director

Yehuda Bachana is the director of Netivyah and the leader of the ‘Roeh Israel’-congregation. Born in Jerusalem into the ministry's original home group, he began working at Netivyah in 2002 following his IDF-service, initially leading the youth group and Hamotzi food distribution. Yehuda teaches about a variety of biblical topics both locally and globally. His deep passion for the Land of Israel and the Scriptures inspired him to become a certified tour guide, adding historical depth to his teachings.
