Simchat Torah

The scroll is finished and immediately begun again: the last verses of Deuteronomy are read, and then the congregation turns straight back to Genesis. Israel dances with the Torah in its arms, and the message could not be plainer—God's word has no ending, and no year is the last time you will hear it.
