Micah

Micah came from Moresheth, a farming town in Judah's lowlands, and prophesied in the late eighth century BCE—a contemporary of Isaiah, but speaking from the countryside rather than the court. He indicted the landowners and officials who devoured the poor, and pointed to a ruler who would come from Bethlehem.
