Haggai

Haggai's ministry lasted a matter of months, in 520 BCE. The exiles had returned to Jerusalem, begun rebuilding the temple, and then simply stopped—discouraged, distracted, busy with their own houses. Haggai's brief, blunt messages got the work moving again, with a promise that this house would know a greater glory.
