Rosh Chodesh

Every new moon marks a beginning. In ancient Israel, Rosh Chodesh was declared by witnesses who had seen the crescent, announced with trumpet blasts, and honored with sacrifices at the temple. It remains a monthly reminder that time itself belongs to God, and that renewal is written into the calendar.
