Roeh Israel Messianic Congregation

Every Shabbat morning at 10:00 a.m., our Messianic congregation ‘Roeh Israel’ (‘Shepherd of Israel’), gathers for a Shabbat service in the very heart of Jerusalem. We follow Yeshua the Messiah, while preserving our Jewish identity through beautiful Jewish traditions passed down from generation to generation. As part of that heritage, we read the weekly Torah Portions and pray the traditional Jewish prayers commonly used during the time of Yeshua, “As was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath.” (Luke 4:16)
Inspired by how the Biblical holidays have the next generation at heart, we strengthen our children through weekly Bible lessons and activities. For young adults and the wider community, we host praise evenings for young adults, seminars on biblical topics, and celebrate festive holiday meals together. We also regularly explore the Land of Israel, enjoying day trips and a yearly overnight outing led by our licensed tour guides.
