Obadiah

Nothing is definitely known of Obadiah beyond his name. His book—twenty-one verses, the shortest in the Hebrew Bible—was likely written after Jerusalem's fall in 586 BCE, when Edom stood by and gloated over a brother nation's ruin. It is a short, fierce word about that betrayal, and about who will finally reign.
