The Call to Stand With Israel Against Antisemitism

We’re nearing ‘Yom HaZikaron’, Israel’s Memorial Day, and ‘Yom HaAtzma’ut’, Israel’s Independence Day, which always bring up mixed feelings of joy, blessing, and pride, mixed with sadness.

The joy that God has brought us back from the four corners of the earth to the Land of Israel. Thanks to Him, we stand here proudly as the eternal people after the rebuilding of the State of Israel.

Sadness arises when we remember our fallen. During the double siren on Israel’s Memorial Day, we stand silently and remember our heroes who sacrificed their lives while defending our country, which compels us & future generations to live intentionally, in honor of them.

We stand here as a People who’ve been brought back from the four corners of the earth, which in itself is a fulfillment of the dream of all of the prophets who spoke about the return to Zion.

In this spirit, it’s our duty to stand boldly and united to safeguard our right to be a free people in our country. We’re so encouraged to have faithful friends around the world, who stand courageously with Israel, even amidst the surging global antisemitism.

I call on believers around the world to wake up and stand with Israel. Much like Isaiah the Prophet calls us to take position and guard the walls of Jerusalem (Isaiah 62), and not rest or be silent, until the righteousness of Yeshua the Messiah shines clearly for all to see.

Isaiah tells us to never cease praying for Jerusalem’s sake, and to not stop talking about Jerusalem (even on Facebook or any other place, even if it’s unpleasant for us or not considered ‘politically correct’). The world is in the midst of an unprecedented blind war of ideas. The United Nations ignores ancient archeology and artifacts that prove that the People of Israel have lived in the Old City of Jerusalem and the Land of Israel since ancient times, which also proves the validity of the Bible. The UN states that, “the Israeli claim to sovereignty over Jerusalem has no substance”. In a similar spirit, the media posts pictures of the Holocaust and claims that those murdered were Arabs murdered by Jews.

Let’s stand actively and united and lift up Jerusalem until the light of her righteousness & salvation will be seen by all. As believers, that’s our job and our responsibility!

On Independence Day, we salute our fallen brothers and sisters who have secured a safer reality which, God willing, will lead to a blessed future filled with unity, security and peace. With that gratitude and hope in mind, we commemorate Israel’s Independence Day and rejoice over the miracle of the re-birth of the State of Israel, now and in our days.
